Two local postal delivery workers recently filed a workplace complaint, alleging that they shouldn’t have to deliver packages to nude residents of White Tail Park, a Virginia nudist resort. The Director of the California Department of Parks and Recreation has said that her greatest concern about nude beaches is that her park employees may file sexual harassment lawsuits because beachgoers are naked. We’ve had some recent successes, and those are reason to be encouraged. Even so, we too often create our own problems with the media. Meanwhile, the media is (are) evolving. Are we keeping up? An interactive discussion. Bob Morton, NEF. Gazebo.

Bob Morton. NAC. Gazebo.

Back in the days of “nudist colonies,” some nudists used pseudonyms or “nude names” to obscure their identities. The practice persists, even among some naturist leaders, and it has contributed historically to a perception of naturism as some sort of a cult.
